This is a link to the work by video artist Grant Stevens.
His video work looks at using text and images and sound. However, he takes the words and sounds and turns them into wordplays as the word or images do not meet up with the sound, eg he uses opposite sounds for the words that are written on the screen.
The images contradict each other to give it humour. I wish to do something similar in my final video with sound and images.

I am a really big fan of Wallace and Gromit films, especially with the claymation. I find it fascinating at the level of skill, time and dedication taken in these movies but they still have such a high level of quality. I am wishing to hopefully use a little bit of claymation in my final project. Wallace and Gromti have helped to fuel my inspiration with there short animation stories that are quite witty and funny.

Sweet Dreams by Kirsten Lepore
This movie is really quite interesting and has had an influence on my decision to stick with stop motion animation for the final project. This film has a really good strong concept and story behind it that allows you to fall in love with the main cupcake character as he goes on his journey to Vegetable Island.
Using actual food, like I had done in my first movie with easter eggs, is a good idea for stop motion animation because you don't have to remodel things all the time and can be shot fromm all different angles.

Watch Awards 4 Sesame Street animated video on aniboom
I then found this Aniboom Animation Competition where you can win a prize of having your animation shown on Sesame Street. I also looked at alot of the entries and found that they were really exciting.

Influences
Recently I have been looking at different animations and videos from the children's program Sesame Street.
I find these animations very interesting and also very technical in terms of their claymation videos such as Cecile the Ball.
